Serhij Zhadan is a celebrated poet in Ukraine, who also performs his texts as the front man of the Kharkiv band “Sobaky w kosmose”.

“Sobaky w kosmose” (Kharkiv) describes the serious problems in post-Soviet Ukraine to the present day. Several of Zhadan’s volumes of poetry and prose have been published in German by Suhrkamp Verlag.
